Location
| Harlech Castle is a World Heritage site - the Castle Hotel
stands directly in front the main entrance. Many of the rooms have views of
the castle or across towards the peaks of Snowdon.
The Royal St David's Golf Club with its excellent links course is just below the Castle. Harlech beach is 4 miles long and one of the safest in Great Britain. The hotel is close to the italianate village of Portmeirion, and the harbour town of Porthmadog - famous for being the home of the Ffestiniog Steam Railway. |

Snowdonia and the Trawsfyndd lakes are within eash reach as are slate, copper and gold mines. Further afield are Criccieth and the country town of Carnarfon.
The Castle Hotel is in the middle of Harlech village with parking in the Castle Square.
